Christian Gullette

Coachella Elegy, 2024

Christian Gullette’s debut poetry collection Coachella Elegy won the 2023 Trio House Press Trio Award, and was listed as one of the most anticipated poetry collections of 2024 by LitHub, was featured in The Los Angeles Review of Books,  reviewed in Publisher's Weekly, and listed as recommended reading by The Washington Post Book Club, and others .

 

His poems have appeared in The American Poetry Review, The Yale Review, Kenyon Review, New England Review, and the Academy of American Poets Poem-a-Day series (selected by Diane Seuss). He is the recipient of a 2022 Bread Loaf scholarship. Gullette serves as a remote lecturer for the University of Minnesota in the Department of German, Nordic, Slavic & Dutch. When not also working as a professional Swedish-to-English translator, he serves as the Editor-in-Chief of The Cortland Review. Christian lives in San Francisco with his husband Michael.
